Who’s Behind the Brand?
I’m April Bordeaux, introverted powerhouse, branding alchemist, design empath, and your creative ride-or-die for small businesses ready to trade “meh” for magnetic. Through my boutique studio, ABdesignerd, I craft brand identities, publications, and marketing materials that connect on a deeper level and actually move people to act.

How I Got Here (the short story)
Business brain meets design heart—that’s my superpower. I started in business/finance and corporate marketing, then fell back in love with art school during the downturn. Eleven years later, as an agency VP, I launched ABdesignerd so y’all could get big-league branding without big-agency timelines. I blend CEO-level thinking with creative intuition to turn “meh” into magnetic—fast, fabulous, and full of soul. One fun truth: I’ve been engineering “perfect” since my mud-pie era. Now I just do it with Pantones and brand systems.

Life Outside the Studio
I’m a third-generation Southwest Floridian raising a fourth. Mama to one magical human named Bleu (yes, like the color), two dogs, one cat, and a spicy orange kitten. Powered by Dr Pepper, quiet magic, sparkly things, and the occasional 2 a.m. creative binge. I believe in giving back, lifting others, and designing with purpose, turning big-hearted ideas into visuals that truly connect.

Don’t let the smile fool you; Jaxx takes his role seriously—no leaf, delivery truck, or neighborhood squirrel escapes his watch. He ensures the studio remains secure and squirrel-free, all while keeping timelines in check and occasionally offering a barked opinion on color palettes.

Equal parts mysterious and fabulous, Luna is my purr-sonal assistant and oversees operations from a sunbeam near the window or directly on the keyboard. She’s got an eye for aesthetics, a flair for drama, and a zero-tolerance policy for off-brand design decisions.
