Hello there! I’m April Bordeaux, and let me tell you, my story about becoming a solopreneur is a rollercoaster of responsibility, passion, and serendipity, with a sprinkle of “Why the heck not?”
Growing up, my world was all about creativity, the enchantment found in books of faraway places, and mastering the art of mud pie baking. However, when it came time for college, I took the responsible route, earning a degree in business and finance. I dove headfirst into the corporate world, soaking up valuable experience in both business and marketing like a sponge.
Pursuit of Passion
Life took an unexpected turn during the economic downturn. It was a wake-up call. I realized I needed to chase after my true passion – art and design. So, back to school, I went, unleashing my creative genius. Now, armed with dual degrees and over two decades of experience, I bring a unique blend of creative flair, strategic thinking, and business acumen that sets me apart as a design extraordinaire.
Transition to Solopreneurship
After spending 11 years working for an agency, I decided to make a daring jump into the unknown. Result? Here I am, embracing my inner “quirky nerd” like a boss. Sure, it’s a tad terrifying, but you know what? I’m thrilled to be here!
With over two decades in the game, I bring you a blend of creative flair, strategic smarts, and business savvy to my role as a designer. Each day, I wake up feeling like the luckiest girl alive, doing what I love. Helping small business dreamers achieve their goals isn’t just a job; it’s my passion. Meet Shiloh, the self-proclaimed Chief Feline Officer (CFO) – a title she takes as seriously as a catnip addiction. She’s the undisputed queen of micromanaging. Shiloh is a purr-fessional and the only thing more over-the-top than her demands is her fluffy tail flicking in disapproval.

Sam is my right-hand doggo. He’s constantly by my side showcasing his barketing brilliance whenever he can. There’s no promotion he won’t fetch and no client he won’t charm with a tail wag and a pawshake. Sam’s not just my barketing manager; he’s the paw-some force behind every wag-worthy deal.
